Any Japan travel packages (or tours) with a long duration but low cost?

Author: I am looking for a travel package to japan that has a long duration (at least 2 weeks) but is still low on cost. Perhaps less touring, cheaper hotels, or no meals could cut the cost down so that I can spend more time in Japan. My problem is that I cannot go without a tour type deal due to parental worries.

Are you a student? You may want to look into your local community college. The local college by me has credit or non credit travel trips to many destinations. If not take a look below for many tour companies.
japan is expensive so be ready to spend some cash. hotels run 150 dollars a night, plane tickets you could get a ticket for 800-1500 with iace.
Long duration package tour in Japan is nonsense because no demand for foreigners who shall go by themselves if they have a lot of days to trip there.
I would go for a shorter duration. The tour packages cram a lot of information in a small space of time. The Tokyo Cultural Tour and Mt Fuji Tour are great. good luck!
